Default March 10 - IGN Article

Does not contain any info too new to us, I think, although there is some interesting bits in there. However, there's also some new in-game footage! Featuring a look at how faction missions might look (look at scoreboard in some of videos), The Kurzicks giant 'pets', and of course, The Luxons giant turtles!

"They don't intend to add new professions with each new campaign, however, so the list shouldn't balloon too far beyond its current state. Think of it as a CCG deck."

This phrase really got to me.

We're also told that Arena plans to release two campaigns a year, with another scheduled for release this fall. That sounds like a lot of work, even for 100 or so people, but there will be two separate teams on an overlapping development timeline.
My Gawd! SO that's how its going to be done. That MEANS that Factions is probabaly already being prepared for a master copy for distribution?! And the Next Preview event is an RC build before the final?!

ON top of that, ANOTHER Chapter is ALREADY being worked on?!

Go ArenaNet!

I just hope that they don't overwhelm players with TOO much content in a short period of time.

Yeah, been mentioned here in there already.

The reason Factions wasn't released back in fall, like they had originally planned with their 1 expansion per 6 months, is because they plan to work a full year on each new expansion. They started working on factions around the time Chapter 1 was released, which would be why its coming out April 28.

As for chapter 3, its been confirmed that they had started developing it since November '05. So expect the next Chapter to be available for Christmas '06 =-).

Some of the score point are so high, that make you wonder how long have they been there?

If they had been there for a long time, it seems that every map is a Giant MMO map that each group of 10 can enter at any given time to assault the other side. Then again, it is probably that 3-6 groups of 10 can join any given time for each district or something similar; this way they can avoid one side having couple hundreds and opposite side get only 10.

Maybe I am just dreaming.

10-man groups sounds exciting! Just imagine the spikage.

Still, I didn't expect them to increase party size since Gaile and the Frog have always insisted that 8 was a magic number. =/

Anyone happen to notice from the videos that the awesome dragon from one of the screenshots looks like it's availiable as a pet? At least, it sure looked like it. I think it's on the second video.

<3 <3 <3

I hadn't even dared hope, but...! That wyvern is a part of the party/NPC/something of that sort?! It doesn't appear to be a pet, but the fact that you can have it on your side is more than I was dreaming of! T_T Oh thank you Anet! THANK YOU! T_T <3

I think these could be faction points, although I haven't watched the one with a count of 182, the wyvern/jade sea one starts at 200 vs 389 and ends at 200 vs 430.

Oh, and
